Don Garbutt has served for 21 years as Director of the Electronic Music at the Harris Institute for the Arts, in Toronto. He also teaches and lectures at various colleges and post-secondary schools throughout Ontario along with individual instruction and collaboration.

He has provided technical assistance to many individuals and companies throughout the world, including GenAudioInc., IDARCA, Oscar Peterson, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Barenaked Ladies, Dennis Quaid and many others.
